Still Wakes The Deep

Worked with the team at The Chinese Room on the atmospheric horror game, Still Wakes The Deep.

My focus was on performance and optimization work across all supported platforms:

  • PC
  • Xbox Series S / X
  • Playstation 5

A lot of work went into identifying performance problems and coming up with solutions to get the game running at the desired 60fps.

Worked closely with the Code, Art and Technical Art teams to get visually pleasing results but with a significantly reduced cost.

I also helped out with the usual bug fixing, cert issues and anything else that came my way.
